What Year of Education should Distance Learning be a Format for Students?

For an online real estate school, it certainly has affected our enrollment which has, fortunately, been beneficial. As the owner of a real estate school, it has brought forth deep discussion on the benefits of distance learning, with those who had only taught in a classroom setting, and now because of Covid, are involved in distance learning.
My daughter is an elementary second grade teacher, and for the last 6 months has been providing instruction by live interactive zoom to 7 and 8-year old’s. My daughter found the experience very challenging and frustrating.
Our school’s online learning over the last 20 years has been on-demand with recorded presentations. The Florida Appraisal Board allowed the appraisal continuing education to be taught by a live interactive zoom presentation in 2020. Cooke School provided the program three different times over the last three months, and the students’ opinion was good.
Distance learning is here to stay, both synchronist and asynchronist method. To provide a live presentation to 7-and 8-year-old students for a 2nd grade class is just not good for the students, parents, or the instructor for numerous reasons.
There is an age where interactive live presentation technology would work for all students, but at what level (age), I don’t know. There will be a point in education in grades 1-12, that this distance learning format will be used in the future, after Covid is gone. My guess it would not be provided to students in elementary years.
